Vibe Ulrik studied photography in California and did a bachelor in fashion at Kingston University, She realised that knitwear and primarily children’s clothes was what she loved doing. “Even though it should be taken seriously, there’s just a more fun dimension to making children’s wear than for grown ups”. True. When not knitting swatches for an agency, she spends her time creating beautiful pieces with her needles and photographing them on children she meets in the street. Vibe, who tutors a knitwear course/seminar at a Danish fashion school, has not a real brand yet, no website, but she has many ideas, including making a knitting book. With the increasing interest in knitting, I am sure that her incredible skills will soon find their way… Don’t hesitate to contact her: vibeulrik@hotmail.com.
