Finnish designer Cecilia Sörensen will present her first children’s collection called Mis Crios at Playtime Paris  next month. A sweet collection produced in Barcelona, where Cecilia lived for 14 years before moving back to her native Helsinki.

Multi talented, Cecilia  studied of Fine Arts and Dressmaking + Tailoring in Finland, before graduating as BA in Fashion Design from the Southampton University.  She worked for Antonio Miró, then launched her eponymous label that has been exhibited at fashion weeks in Barcelona, Paris, Stockholm, Berlin, Helsinki and Tokyo. Cecilia Sörensen also designs exclusive pieces for cinema, theatre, commercials and dance (she collaborates with the choreographer Blanca Li). Her pieces have recently been seen in movies like Woody Allen’s Vicky Cristina Barcelona and Elena Anaya’s wardrobe in the Spanish movie ‘Hierro’.

Last but not least, Cecilia teaches Fashion Design at Instituto Europeo di Design and she is a lecturer in Design Concept and Research Methods at the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona.
It was quite natural for this mother of two to extend her talent to children’s fashion. There is a lot of curiosity and high expectations around Mis Crios. A collection to put on the Playtime-Paris-Must-See-List!
