Caring for tomorrow, NONAH offers ecological furniture for children, made of solid European wood from sustainable forests, with water based lacquer and natural oil. This family business founded in 2007 is run by its founders, brothers and sister Marc, Bruno and Claire Savoldelli.
There was a time, not very long ago, when parents had very little choice – not to say no choice at all – for their children’s rooms. Now with brands like Oeuf, Perludi, Kalon Studio, Io Kids Design, Rafa or Krethaus, children’s furniture has become cool and stylish, Here’s a selection of beautiful and well designed beds, with an overview of who creates them.
This scooter is made of compostable and recyclable bamboo. It is one of the projects by Frisch-Durisotti, a French firm that focuses on non-polluting traveling solutions.
A new project is creating the buzz at the coming edition of Pitti Bimbo, due in Florence next week end. Called Kidsrevolution, it is a global B2B network and platform targeted to the children’s industry, where retailers and designers can meet, trade and get inspired.

Me Too is is a unique collection of children’s products launched by Magis in 2004. Me Too includes iconic collaborations with designers such as Eero Arnio, Marcel Wanders, Marc Newson, Enzo Mari, Javier Mariscal. New in the range is EUR, a shelving system by Giulio Iacchetti.
I had a crush on TORBUSCHKA by Kaaita, a collection of bags made from recycled plastic bottles, designed to be timeless, beyond all seasons and fashion trends. The bags are versatile and can be used in the classic way (carried around) or as a home object. Sewn in Slovenia, they come in three-in-one combinations in large and extra large sizes and 4 colours (black, grey black, passionate red and light grey).
There’s a new comer in the family of cool and simple children’s furniture : the Argentinian brand called KRETHAUS. Well established in its hometown Buenos Aires, Krethaus is now starting its expansion to other countries, after a successful presence in Milan last month (kidsroomZOOM).
