I had a crush on Two, a Brooklyn based brand of kaftans, dresses and children’s tee-shirts. I first saw one of their pieces  on a beautiful girl in the streets of NY (The Sartorialist), without knowing who it was from. Not long after, Monica Patel (co-founder/designer of the brand) magically  emailed me about their kid’s line, and yesterday, at Playtime NY, I saw a kaftan on Carina Schott from Nonchalant Mom.  Another great coincidence which really confirmed my feelings.
Two makes unique kaftans, in thin and dry (yet soft) fabric, sophisticated colors. Made from Indian textiles and sarees, they are made in the owner’s Brooklyn studio. Cherry on the cake, the brand is sold in my favorite stores : Mint in Mill Valley (Cal), Erica Tanov (NY), Nonchalant Mom, Poppyscloset.

Although I haven’t seen the children’s tees in real life yet, they seem fun to me!
