Made in LithuaniaMuku is an adorable brand mainly focusing on kids clothing, but also playing around with toys, accessories, and whatever the designer’s exploring hands can create. The inspiration comes from DIY idea, recycling, remakes, urban art, etc. “We find most of our ideas and materials from grandparents cupboards, antique bookshops, flea markets, old books and pictures” writes Dovile the co-founder and designer.

All clothes are made in Lithuania, out of local materials and especially linen, a Lithuanian specialty.

Muku was brought to my attention by Kid’s Gazette‘s author Santa Bindemane (read here).

“Muku’s spirit is less about fashion and more about a way of living. It`s about balance between form and function with each product being designed with children in mind. Cosy muted tones with accents of colour, freedom of motion, carefully selected natural fabrics – it`s all Muku“.
