The collection of Fanny Belette was a good surprise at the last Playtime New York. The refined and comfortable baby clothing inspired by traditional designs and produced in Peru just reached the shelves of Sweet William.

Stephanie Bellet studied fashion at ESMOD in Paris. While working as a product and production manager for French brands, she travelled a lot to Peru and fall in love with the country and with its people. A real expert and passionate about knits, Stephanie launched Fanny Belette four years ago.
Designed in France, her collections focus on babies and young children (0-2 y) and are handmade in Peru under fair trade conditions. Stephanie uses coton Pima, baby alpaga, which she sometimes mixes with silk. A part of the collection is organic and involves vegetable dyes. Colour is something very important for the designer who mentions that some of her unique pieces can count up to 80 different shades.
Fanny Belette’s wonderful organic baby knits are sold in the United Arab Countries, in Japan, Belgium, UK, Korea, and now in the US.
