Among the new children’s labels that will launch at Playtime Paris (Jan 25 to 27), Hilda.Henri caught my eye (and my brain). Founded in by Verena Wondrak, it proposes a sustainable couture made from milled loden, an Alpine farming fabric in pure new wool, that is normally used for traditional costumes.
Paola Noe’s KidsroomZOOM! will be part of the 78.edition of Pitti Bimbo. Located in the New View area, it will showcase a handpicked selection of super interesting brands and projects related to the kids world. A special preview of what will be on display during the Milano Design Week next April 2014.

A public school New York (P.S. 244 in Queens), the first in the US, has opted for a 100 percent vegetarian school lunch menu. That on its own is already a breaking news, but more interesting even is the fact that the school life and the student’s health have improved with this diet change.
