There are many babies and young kids in the streets of Shanghai, all happily playing, dressed in cute outfits with vibrant colors. But I was surprise not to see pre-teen or teenagers, even on week ends. Why? I learned from my Chinese friends that they are all kept home by their parents, to study and do their homework. A hard life, the one of a 13 years old in China!
