Repose AMS SS20
Retro inspired photography has been a much loved trend in kid’s fashion photography for some time now. There are exceedingly good campaigns however many can look very similar this is not the case for Repose Ams Collection no.9 campaign though. The fresh documentary style photography is packed with childhood nostalgia, no over used gimmicks here such as leaning on each other instead there are young people enjoying the joys of summer and friendship in some cool relaxed stylish looks. Now to look at the collection.
Repose Ams takes inspiration for their 9th collection entitled “People” from the human race on an individual level and collectively as a whole. Projecting that we are united by our longings, therefore we make the changes that these times are asking for. What a difference we have seen in Repose Ams from their first collection of knits and blankets – this is a label that is evolving like the collection by adapting and growing into the times.
The colour palette is warm yet subtle, the prints nostalgic in reference, and the use of oversized plaid bang on trend. An introduction of florals mix retro with urban chic styling for boys or girls. The light soft denim provides a base that can then be layered with the sport style windbreaker bomber….
To be worn as we feel right – it’s our choice, that’s the point..
