Time to stop and have a little look at this interesting collection from Belgian label Fred and Ginger. Their playful collection with unique prints demands a double take. Abstract shapes are in fact foxes and other woodland creatures. Is it an optical trick? well it’s certainly a fun and playful FW19 collection to look at.
Inspired by the art of storytelling Fred and Ginger take inspiration from the beauty of the natural world and the principles of camouflage. The contrast colour palette supports their intriguing textiles and illustrations whilst the photography asks us to look deeper into the image.
This is an interesting collection with a strong juxtapose, now let’s play a spot of ‘Hide and Seek’!
