What a busy Sunday morning at the Vinyl factory for Dot to Dot London. Although the exhibitor numbers were very slightly down for this edition compared with January, visitors certainly appeared to be on the up. Buyers, press, and stylists alike dotting about the stands made for a fun buzz at this little independent show taking place in the lovely brick lined venue of the Vinyl factory, Soho. Dot to Dot has become a great resource for press, buyers and stylists on the search for something a little new on their doorstep in London. Thankfully, colour is making it’s way steadily back into kid’s fashion with warm toned reds, yellows, orange and blues. The exhibitors had some wonderful products and collections at the show, (lots to write about later). But here are our winning brands of the Pirouette One to Watch for ss18 at Dot to Dot London.

Winners Design

Japanese school bags and 70’s – 80’s retro is the inspiration behind designer Jacqui Ma’s Goodordering mini range. This label is super cool and functional. When talking with Jacqui she introduced me to the new range of magnetic clip on sunglasses – which are brilliant. If your little one wears glasses these are a fantastic idea. Purchase them online in the Goodordering store then take the frames into your local optician to add prescription lenses, all you do then is click on the SUV magnetic lens ontop when it’s a little too bright! So cool. With all the elements of functional design and a retro cool aesthetic Goodordering mini are definitely One to Watch for ss18 in kids design.
