The next edition of Playtime Paris will start Sunday January 24 and close Tuesday January 26. Children’s wear will thus be fully integrated in the Parisian calendar of international trade shows such as Maison & Objet and Who’s Next. Focus on the new clothing brands that will make their entrance at Playtime Paris.
New dates for Playtime Paris
The change of dates is very positive, as it will allow buyers coming from far away destinations to see more shows and to buy more brands from different sectors. Playtime shared dates with M&O for the first time last year, with a positive effect on kids collections with a record number of 8164 visitors. For concept store owners, M&O is a priority show, and they cannot really afford making 2 overseas trips to Paris in the same month, from destinations like Los Angeles or Singapore.
So, in January Paris turns into the capital of Fashion, Design… and Children’s wear!
Because Pitti Bimbo will be taking place during the same weekend in Florence (21-23 January, 2016), Playtime Paris decided to exceptionally shift its dates by one day, allowing brands who have decided to show at both Pitti Bimbo and Playtime to do the two shows back to back.
It will also be easier for buyers who will be able to fly directly from Florence to Paris.
