I discovered two wonderful things this month : Behomm, a home exchange community for creatives and designers (thanks BozAround for bringing it to my attention), and through it, “Let’s make some great art”,  an interactive book by Marion Deuchars.

My husband sent a note earlier today to say he found it at Caramel baby&child today, so it’s in Santa’s bag for a delivery on December 25.

Coming back to Behomm, if you work in the creative industry and wish to exchange your flat/house with people who share a taste for well designed interiors, that’s for you. I was lucky get get invited by Lila&Tom creative agency (another big thank). Behomm’s website is very well done, user friendly, and the owners are wonderful. Just join and you’ll see what I mean.  I am already dreaming of travels, exchanging  home with Benjamin – architect in Santiago de Chile, Lori – interior designer in Calgary (Italy) or with Nadia – set designer in Copenhagen…

Between sending suggestions for new home exchanged, Behomm also sends cultural finds and other things they share on their blog.

“We absolutely love the interactive art books created by Marion Deuchars, British internationally renowned illustrator. They are creative, intelligent and fun. She developed these projects in an effort to keep her sons inspired and stimulated.

She first published “Let’s Make Some Great Art”, and afterwards “Let’s Make Great Fingerprint “. The books are a bomb of creativity… truly encourage imagination, art and design.
Wish we would have had them when our kids were kids…

With these books, kids will learn that art is fun to create and that there are no boundaries.
“You can do whatever you want. It doesn’t have to be true. All is in your imagination” says Marion Deuchars’ youngest son in an interview to his mum by Design Observer.

A great present for your next home exchange guests if they have kids… or not!
Books for all ages. Enjoy!”

Thanks everyone for sharing so many good things!
