A place you saw when you were a child, and that made its mark on you?  The North Norfolk Coast – we used to spend all my childhood summer holidays here – at Burnham Overy Staithe.  It’s a beautiful unspoilt part of the English coastline and the beaches are huge.  I still try to go back there now with my kids but there is no surf being on the North Sea so we tend to go to Cornwall now instead.

The place you love near your home? The beach!! It’s 200ms from our front door – we spend a lot of time there!

Where do you dream to go for your next family holiday? Brazil…I hear the kitesurfing is great there!

A film or cultural event that you saw recently and that staid with you?  The Olympics in London last year – my mum got tickets for me and the kids to go see the athletics and we saw Jessica Ennis and Bolt amongst others – it was a magical day

What do you buy online? We buy everything online – I am not a great shopper – too busy working or playing on the beach – our favourite online clothes shop would be Surfdome – we spend lots here at the moment J

I was at boarding school and one night before sports day, when all the parents were coming into school the next morning, my friends and I snuck out of our dorm and wrapped the entire statue centerpiece in the school driveway with toilet paper and turned it into a mummy!  They never did find out who did it either!

Something that made you laugh out loudly recently?  My father’s speech at his recent golden wedding anniversary party.
