A film or cultural event that you saw recently and that staid with you ? I just saw Pippin on Broadway. Right after the show, I walked straight to the box office, tears streaming down my face, wanting to buy another ticket and see it again! Its chilling message had never been more relevant to me than right that moment.

Something that you did in your childhood that you makes you laugh today ? Solo rollerdancing to Neil Diamond’s America in front of my entire P.E. class. It was mandatory that we each pick a song and demonstrate our skating technique to the teacher via the rollerdance routine
Something that made you laugh out loudly recently ? Gatsby, my daughter’s dog, had himself a proud bowel movement in the family van. I thought the smell was from my daughter being gassy. Then I looked down and found Gatsby’s business by my foot. Mayumi knew this all along, but waited for me to discover it on my own. She knew my reaction was going to be better than any cartoon she was going to watch that day. She was right.
