Hotel Jeanne d’Arc Super well located in the heart of Le Marais (good children’s stores, fashion, museums, good food) – close to subway line 1
Hotel Mama Shelter This is a hip yet affordable hotel designed and co-owned by Philippe Starck.
Hotel Americain In the heart of Le Marais nord, near all the nice fashion/design stores (including Merci) and super trendy/cool bars. Affordable and very OK (not stylish though)

Hotel Therese €200 – Small rooms but excellent location. Quiet, near Palais Royal, Opera, Le Louvre, subway line one
Hotel de Nevers Very affordable, basic but very well located in St Germain, close to many good children’s stores and Le Bon Marche
Hotel Grand Prieure Very close to le Marais (North, which is the cool side), very affordable, clean. Ask for a room not on the street side although it is not a very busy street.
Hotel Academie des arts, (6eme) 189 Euros
