During this Marrakech trip we stayed with friends in their wonderful Riad, in the heart of the Medina. I was great to experiment the real Moroccan life, to go food shopping in the morning with Farida the cook. Going to Marrakech was the occasion to work on a lifestyle reportage about the home of Zid Zid Kid Family for Milk Magazine with photographer Gaelle Leboulicaut. Julie from Zid Zid gave us lots of great addresses, and we particularly loved the Flower Power Cafe, owned and managed by her friend Aurelia Tazi.

After Marrakech we took an overnight train to Tangier, a city that had never visited before and that surprised us in a positive way. Tangier the white by the ocean is such in contrast with Marrakech the brown in the middle of the desert. We felt very safe in the train and the kids loved sleeping in bunk beds, all in the same little cabin.
