Fauna and flora inspire Hucklebones

Season after season, Hucklebones strikes back with a new remarkable collection, faithful to the elements that define the brand:

refined, carefully tailored pieces with a romantic and clean vocabulary, harkening back to the 50’s & 60’s

. The

spring / summer 2011 takes inspiration from the fauna and flora of the garden. Beautiful pom-pom dahlias adorn soft silk dresses and full floaty gathered tops. A petal inspired palette, soft and delicious with highlights of bright zesty yellow and blue hyacinth.

Long flowing dresses and feminine details grace the line and are punctuated with chic A-line dresses and neat ‘penny collar’ blouses.

Hero items include a wedgwood blue silk jumpsuit with contrast bodice, delicate ivory threaded lace dress with scalloped hem and sleeves, and the beautiful Dahlia print gathered silk dress.

Fabrics include pinpoint cotton, seersucker, ditsy checks, fine cotton voile, soft fluid silk, natural jersey, crisp cottons and cool linen. As always the collection includes unique Hucklebones prints made using environmentally low impact dyes. Already distributed in the best European stores (Harvey Nichols, Little Fashion Gallery), Hucklebones will be available at Bergdorf Goodman in New York from this fall.
