Going to Playtime Paris this week end? Remember to visit booth D14. Milk & Biscuits will take you to a colourful slightly surreal world inspired by Wes Anderson, where vintage dress up meets buttoned-up prepsters.

The prints, colours and textures are always so enjoyable with this young brand. This A/W 2016 collections features pastel blues and rusty reds, with touches of pale pinks and burgundy. The beauty as always is in the detail – box pleats and ruffled sleeves contrasted with sporty stripes and embroidered graphics.

You will also find cosy padded cocoon coats, oversized quilted jackets and woolly hats. The collection is for both boys and girls from ages 2-10. A must see collection!

About the brand : Milk & Biscuits is an Anglo-Chinese children’s fashion brand with a simple aim: to create honest and practical clothes for both boys and girls. That not only look fabulous, but also allow kids to be kids.

Our designs are all based on the classics, with a contemporary twist. Each piece is cut for comfort whilst creating a modern and distinctive style.

Every season we also have the pleasure of collaborating with an artist or illustrator to create unique prints. From Naomi Wilksinson and her ‘Swimmers’ print for our Lido inspired Spring/Summer_15 collection. To this seasons ‘Mountains’ print by Amyisla Mccombie for our ‘North’ Autumn/Winter_15 collection.

All of our production is done with pride and care in China at a local family run Shanghai small order factory. The accessories production can vary, for example we have scarfs hand knitted by Grannies in Shanghai and Lopi inspired shawls hand knitted in Iceland.

We here at Milk & Biscuits totally support and adhere to the wise words of Vivienne Westwood: “Buy less, choose well and make it last”. Making kids clothes last somewhat depends on how quickly your child grows, but the ethos remains the same. This is not fast fashion. It’s slow and built to be enjoyed. Much like a glass of milk and a plate of biscuits at the end of an afternoon of hard work/play!
