Piero Fornasetti was a Milanese painter, sculptor, interior decorator, engraver of books and a creator of more than 11,000 products. Fornasetti is celebrated as being among the most original creative talents and one of the most productive of the twentieth century. During his career he created a visual vocabulary that is instantly recognisable and unceasingly engaging. His magical world, saturated in image and colour, filled with whimsy and wit, really appeal to children. The perfect introduction to Greek and Roman architecture style, with a twist or a wink! Take a look at the Fornassetti House. It is not open to the public but was lucky enough to visit while living in Milan; magical!
