In 2003 Donna Wilson was making odd knitted creatures for her final show at the Royal College of Art. She is now selling her eponymous collection of toys, accessories and home decor all over the planet, and celebrating her 10th anniversary!

To mark this important event Donna will have a 5 day celebration during the London Design Festival (18-22 Sept 2013), with a retrospective exhibition and a pop-up shop. It will feature a number of interactive activities including a talk by Donna, a photo-booth  with oversized knitted props, and free craft workshops for adults and children.  The showpiece of the exhibition will be a live knitted installation to which visitors will be encouraged to add their own handmade raindrop,  at the end of the five days it will culminate  in a giant knitted rainstorm.

Donna’s new collection is focused in a graphic direction, with pieces like the patchwork Pie Chart Blanket and Giant Turtle Floor Cushion both made by hand at the brands London studio, the brand is also showing new leather-handled canvas bags, signature lambswool cushions and knitted accessories featuring striking geometric patterns in Donna’s trademark off-kilter colour palette. Some new handmade knitted creatures include  a friendly tortoise, a monkey named Bruce, Belle the Bird, BiBi Bear and Smokey Cat.

Meanwhile Donna will exhibit at Maison&Objet in Paris (trade only).
