Freshly opened, Etoile is a children’s store located in the cool area of Islington, a few steps from The Little Angel Theater (well known by all mothers in town). What’s on display at Etoile ? A selection of clothes (for 0 to 6 years old), lovely accessories, home decor and books, from brands such as Bonton, April Showers, Bobo Choses, Apolline å Paris, Tamar Mogendorff, Bakker Made with Love, edition Paumes, Lucky Boy Sunday, Tampico. The delicious label Makié is also announced in the store for Winter 2012.
Founder of Etoile, Laetitia Lefebvre worked for Yohji Yamamoto in Paris and London before she became a mother, 15 months ago and decided to open her own store. From her experience in high end retail, Laetitia developed a great sensibility for beautiful materials, smart cuts and artistic displays. All of which reflects in Etoile.
Aside from her love for beautiful clothes, Laetitia confesses a passion for travel : the trip preparation, the actual travel experience, the memories of amazing moments…Laetitia truly enjoys all aspects of the adventure. For 2013 Japan is on the map and her little note book is already full of exciting addresses. Let’s hope Laetitia finds all sorts of “kawai” things on the way, for us to buy at Etoile of course.
