Everyone is busy getting ready for the next children’s trade show Playtime Paris, with lots of excitement and probably a tiny bit of stress. It’s two weeks before the opening and Ewa Wróbel-Hultqvist, designer of EFVVA sent us a preview of her Winter 2016 collections, that will be on display at the show.

Ewa Wróbel-Hultqvist, a graduate in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, grew up in an artistic family where design and art intertwined with each other each day.  Her brand EFVVA’s 8th collection called “Musicians and Angels” is inspired by Marc Chagall.

The forty pieces of the collection are made in natural materials, mainly cotton, some with organic with GOTS certification. All clothes and shoes are handmade in Poland with materials that have less impact on the environment and the end consumer, as EFVVA aims to create clothes with respect to the environment and human rights.

Previous collections drawn inspiration from Henri Rousseau, Pablo Picasso-rose period, Renee Magritte, Hokusai Katsushika, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol, Paolo Uccello, Frida Khalo.

EFVVA has retailers in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Finland, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, Sweden, UK, and the US.
