The Weather Diaries
A Look At… The Weather Diaries, a book in celebration of the Nordic Fashion Biennale, one of my favourite books.
It was a toss between sharing a colourful set of images making us all long for sunny days but i gave in to the cold, folky and scandi feel of the Weather Diaries. In The Weather Diaries, the artist duo Sarah Cooper & Nina Gorfer and curators of the third Nordic Fashion Biennale, explore the roots of Nordic fashion and design traditions. In 2014, they packed their camera gear and travelled around the Faroe Islands, Greenland and Iceland shooting the work of emerging and established nordic fashion designers showcased through darkly romantic and elaborate mise en scenes set in spectacular settings. I am looking forward to catching the exhibition at the Black Diamond (National Museum of Photography) when i visit Copenhagen next year. The exhibition is now on until March 2015
