This is the kind of look I was trying to achieve as a little girl, in my dress up and disguise sessions. I was digging into my mum and dad’s closets, into the attic in search of hats and other decorating elements. I loved layering, hunting and military looks, boys shoes too large for me combined with puffy skirts. The result was pretty far from this beautiful story by Julie Vianey (style) and Dani Brubaker (photo) for Collezioni. In fact, it most probably looked kind of pathetic, but I was so happy playing out my costume fantasies. There was no jury and no critics. The magic of innocence…
